Random Act of Kindness Day is an inclusive, community building initiative that was developed in 2008 by the Kitchener Waterloo Community Foundation. Since that time, Random Act of Kindness Day has grown to become a branded kindness initiative celebrated across the country led by local community foundations.
Random Act of Kindness Day has been brought to the Windsor-Essex region by the WECF, bringing the community together by engaging residents across Windsor-Essex in small acts of kindness and generosity. The public is encouraged to reach out to the WECF to share your kindness stories with us through Facebook and Twitter @WindsorEssexRAK and by using the hashtags #WERAK #RAKDAY.
