Rob_Whent_126x170 Rob Whent – Industrial Technology Advisor – NRC-IRAP
Rob is a graduate of the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering.  Upon graduation Rob had progressive roles in engineering and management with Union Gas and Chrysler Canada.  Early in his career he elected to launch his own company, McGill Multimedia, to develop and market technology for digital mapping and electronic presentations, an enterprise that grew to 150 employees before being acquired.  In the interim he has created and grown several additional enterprises that have brought digital and/or mobile technologies to market.  In 2010 Rob help set up the Windsor tech accelerator WeTech Alliance as the Entrepreneur in Residence. Most recently he founded a mobile app company, WeCam Technologies, specializing in secure peer-to-peer video solutions.Rob joined the National Research Council of Canada in 2016 as an Industrial Technical Advisor for the Industrial Research Assistance Program, helping accelerate the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises by providing them with a comprehensive suite of innovation services and funding.
Doug Doug Sartori – ‎Partner, Parallel 42 Systems
Doug Sartori has been a professional software developer since the turn of the century. He’s written code for organizations large and small in a variety of technical roles. Doug has worked with a broad range of technologies, with a particular focus on mobile applications and databases. As a consultant, Doug has helped identify and develop technology solutions for some of the largest organizations in Canada. Specialties: Tech strategy, team development, software development, product and team management.
Frank-Abbruzzese Frank Abbruzzese – President, AlphaKOR Group
Frank Abbruzzese has over 24 years experience in the IT Industry by developing long-term relationships for companies and organizations of all sizes. Maurice Marwood – President and Principal, MMARCO International Services Inc.
Mr. Marwood obtained a MSc. Degree (engineering) from the University of Guelph and later, an MBA degree from the University of Chicago. He has over 40 years of international business experience, including 30 years working with the Caterpillar organization in the USA, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. As President and General Manager, he successfully led several turnaround and restructuring assignments for a variety of Canadian businesses in the high-value capital equipment and consumer products industry. Mr. Marwood is certified as a Six-Sigma Deployment Champion and has used the data-driven problem-solving methodology to improve sales and profit growth in a variety of organizations and industries.Specialites: He specializes in helping entrepreneurs and SMEs with strategic and business planning, executive coaching, and international marketing and distribution.

Federica Nazzani is the President of Capital Assist (Valuation) Inc., an independent business advisory practice established to assist clients in meeting their strategic and financial objectives. Most recently, Federica served as the President & CEO of the Windsor International Airport; during her tenure, she was responsible for having more than doubled its passenger traffic and diversified its operations. She was instrumental in turning-around the Airport operations to achieve financial profitability and stability.  She also served in an interim Executive capacity as the Vice President of Business Development for one of Canada’s largest privately-held maintenance, repair and overhaul companies, Premier Aviation Overhaul Center.  Her background both in the private and the public sectors as a Senior Executive and leader has allowed her to gain valuable experience in strategic and business development, government relations, sales, operational performance, finance and corporate governance.Federica has also contributed extensively to both the business and broader communities, currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Windsor Club and the Art Gallery of Windsor and previously on the Boards of Airports Council International-North America (Canadian Airports Council), Windsor Family Credit Union, Enwin Energy Ltd., Windsor Utilities Commission, Windsor Regional Chamber of Chamber and the Women’s Economic Forum.  She has been very active in her community through her work in numerous volunteer groups for non-profit organizations as well as mentoring programs.Federica is a Fellow Chartered Public Accountant (FCPA, FCA) and a Chartered Business Valuator.  She received the highly-esteemed and coveted Fellowship designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in recognition of her outstanding career achievements and leadership contributions to the community and the profession.  She was educated at the University of Waterloo, having received her Honours Bachelor and Masters of Accounting.Specialities: Business valuation, budgeting, forecasting, debt, equity or government financing, preparation of business plans and investor summaries, strategic planning, business development and corporate governance.

Philip Cohen – President at WIAL-Canada Inc., Professional Action Learning Coach, Strategic Planning Consultant
Phil Cohen has over 30 years’ experience in the processing and distribution industry and has spent the past 12 years as a College Professor concentrating on Business Management, International Trade Research, Supply Chain Management and Logistics. He developed the Entrepreneurship Certificate Program being offered at St Clair College.  On the consulting front, Phil has been guiding businesses in Change Management and develops strategies for start -up, growth and renewal.

Michael Solcz

Michael Solcz – Executive Vice President Director, Solcz Group Inc.
Michael Solcz worked as a Proposal Engineer for Ingersoll-Rand Automated Production Systems in Farmington Hills, Michigan from 1980-1985. He graduated in 1984 from Lawrence Institute of Technology Mechanical Engineering, Southfield, Michigan, then became General manager of Valiant International, Madison Heights, Michigan which was Valiant’s first US Operational office. In 1990 Michael became Vice President of Valiant Machine and Tool Inc. Powertrain Group.

Michael is a member of The Windsor Club, Laurence Tech. Alumni, Beach Grove Golf and Country Club, Kansas City BBQ Association and the Society of Automotive Engineers.

Mike Labiak Mike Labiak – Investor
Mike Labiak is a successful entrepreneur, active investor and general partner in ventures that have become listed companies on the TSX Venture Exchange. Mike’s investment portfolio and business interests encompass a wide range of endeavors from healthcare to automotive, energy production and real estate transactions. Mike was past General Manager of Windsor Honda Automotive leading the Dealership to hyper growth sales during his tenure. He was also instrumental in the formation and acted as a Founding member, COO and Interim CFO of the Essex Angel Capital Group and founding Shareholder for Vier Capital Group (2015). Specialities: Mike specializes in financial metric assessment, investor relations, investment planning, corporate sales, and new customer development.
