One of the most rewarding parts of the ScaleUP Accelerator is seeing alumni continue to evolve, experiment, and grow long after their cohort ends. Here are a few recent updates from ScaleUP companies across multiple cohorts that reflect the range of ambition and impact in our community.
IPM Scoutek, winner of the 2019 ScaleUP cohort, has been selected to join the Team Canada trade mission to Mexico, taking place February 15 to 20 with stops in Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara. The delegation will focus on opportunities in agriculture, advanced manufacturing, ICT, clean energy, and creative industries. For IPM Scoutek, this represents an important step in expanding its greenhouse and controlled environment agriculture innovation into a key international market, while building relationships with Canadian and Mexican industry leaders, trade commissioners, and potential partners.
Picsume, winner of the 2023 ScaleUP cohort, has entered a new phase of growth through a partnership with Northeastern University Toronto. Building on its momentum as a fast-growing HR tech company, Picsume is embedding itself within Northeastern’s Partnership Hub and onboarding students through hands-on workforce readiness and career-building experiences. This next chapter deepens Picsume’s connection to emerging talent, bringing real-world insight into the platform while helping shape what the company builds next.
Embrace Health Tracking, winner of the 2020 ScaleUP cohort, has relaunched its product with a renewed focus and a fresh build. After originally winning a pitch competition that helped launch the first version of Embrace Health Tracking, the founder took on the challenge of rebuilding the app from the ground up, learning to code and leveraging new tools to bring the vision fully to life. The result is a newly released Embrace Health Tracking app, now live on the Apple App Store for iOS, offering free core features with optional premium tools, while keeping user health data private and stored only on the device or iCloud.
Scelta, the People’s Choice Award winner from the 2025 ScaleUP cohort, has launched a new website that signals a deeper evolution of the company. Drawing on three years of hands on experience across the construction industry, Scelta has moved beyond solving isolated problems to building integrated systems designed to support field teams, leadership, and project delivery. This next chapter introduces three core Scelta systems focused on forward deployed engineering, development strategy, and contractor operations, marking a clear statement about where the company is headed.
BeAware, part of the 2025 ScaleUP cohort, has been accepted into the FoundersForward Cohort in Michigan, expanding its reach across the border and tapping into new networks, mentorship, and market opportunities as it continues to grow and scale.
We are proud to support founders at every stage of their journey and to continue celebrating the progress, resilience, and ambition of ScaleUP alumni as they grow locally and scale globally.
