We are proud to announce that two Windsor, Ontario-based companies have been recognized as semifinalists in the prestigious Global Automotive & Mobility Innovation Challenge (GAMIC) — a global competition that showcases breakthrough automotive and mobility technologies and connects early-stage startups with industry leaders, mentors, and investors.
These local innovators are among a select group of startups advancing through the GAMIC competition, highlighting Windsor’s growing presence in the future of mobility and automotive innovation.
The Windsor companies advancing are:
-
Estare Inc. – A Windsor-based company delivering innovative, lightweight, and sustainable engineering solutions for automotive and industrial applications, helping modernize supply chains and transportation systems.
-
Transit Rewards – A Windsor-based mobility technology company focused on incentivizing sustainable transportation choices through rewards, data, and digital engagement tools that encourage transit use and active mobility.
“GAMIC has proven to be a powerful ally and platform in helping Canadian companies emerge into the global mobility market, said Adam Castle, Director of Venture Services & Partnerships at WEtech Alliance. Over the last 5 years of promoting GAMIC, the companies we’ve worked with that have gone through the competition have benefited greatly through exposure to investors, introductions to customers, and accessing experienced mentors in their industry.”
The 18th Annual Global Automotive & Mobility Innovation Challenge (GAMIC) Semifinals will take place on February 25, 2026, at the University of Michigan–Dearborn, Fairlane Center South (College of Business).
The GAMIC Finals will be held later in April at SAE WCX in Detroit, Michigan, where finalists will present on a global stage alongside industry leaders.
