What is the Total Mom Pitch?
Canada’s Total Mom Pitch is a national business program open to entrepreneurs across the country. Applicants are considered for a Top 100 semi-finalist spot, with five founders eventually advancing to become Top 5 Finalists. Those finalists take the stage live on February 10, 2027, pitching in front of leading brands, media, and decision-makers for a chance at up to $50,000 in non-dilutive funding and business services.
Making the Top 100 comes with its own perks, even before the live pitch:
- Access to a national media and storytelling campaign
- Webinar calls with industry leaders
- Support around funding pathways
- A community of founders navigating the same journey

What are the Total Mom Business Awards?
If pitching live isn’t your thing, there’s also a no-pitch-required path: the Total Mom Business Awards. These celebrate Canadian entrepreneurs across 11 categories including the Women in Tech & AI Innovation Award and the Emerging Founder Award, recognizing the work of building a business, leading with purpose, and showing up for community.
Award categories are self-nominated, meaning you put yourself forward for recognition of what you’ve built. The one exception is the Trailblazer Award, which can also be nominated by someone who knows what you’ve overcome to get here.
Finalists are announced in December, and winners are honoured live at the Total Mom Pitch Awards Night on February 10, 2027 — the same night as the live pitch finale.
Award applications also close November 15, 2026.
Why You Should Apply
Whether you’re looking for funding, media exposure, a founder community, or simply recognition for the business you’ve built, this program offers a few different ways in. The pitch stream is a bigger commitment with a bigger potential payoff (non-dilutive funding doesn’t require giving up equity), while the Business Awards stream is lower-lift and open to anyone ready to have their business celebrated.
