FREEThis workshop is designed to help participants maximize the return on their trade show investment by reviewing best practices in planning and exhibiting at B2B trade shows. Participants will be guided in building their trade show plan for the following year by using a practical step-by-step framework.
This course is mandatory for WEtech clients exhibiting in the Start-Up Zone at the Emerging Tech Conference.

Understanding the value of trade shows and conferences
- Reviewing the average spend on trade shows and conferences
- Amount of business done at shows and conferences
- Lost opportunities in poor trade show planning
The components that make or break your trade show investment
- Show/Conference Selection
- Show/Conference Budget – spending too much or too little
- Space/Booth – location, size, design of booth space
- Marketing at the show – Conference Speaking Spot, Show Sponsorship
- Connecting with existing clients – pre-set appointments, hospitality suites
- Drawing new clients to your booth – pre-show marketing campaign to targeted potential clients, show specials, giveaways, demos, etc.
- Trained and attentive sales/show staff
- Capturing client’s information – scan badges and business cards
- Follow up with potential clients
- Measure ROI on the show/conference, create benchmarks
