Description
The Canadian Association of Road Safety Professionals (CARSP), a non-profit organization, is seeking a reliable and experienced WordPress Website Administrator for 5–15 hours/month (variable). In keeping with our annual conference timelines, the incumbent would be expected to devote more time (approximately 15 hours per month) in September, January, and May. Pay range $80-$95/hour based on experience/training. This is a long-term freelance opportunity.
Skills
Must-Have Skills:
- WordPress development & troubleshooting
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Comfortable working with bilingual content
- Hosting/server issue troubleshooting
Nice-to-Haves:
- Graphic design (web & print)
- Experience with Pheedloop
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update a bilingual (English/French) WordPress site
- Troubleshoot plugin, theme, and hosting issues
- Ensure performance, accessibility, and security
- Assist with basic design or content updates
- Optional: Support conference platform (Pheedloop)
