SENIOR PROJECT ANALYST
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Sr. Project Analyst (SPA) to join the growing digital health team at TransForm. As an SPA, you will be responsible for contributing to the coordination and leadership of digital health initiatives with multiple Ontario Health Teams in the Ontario-West region. You will collaborate with stakeholders, analyze complex challenges, develop innovative solutions, and drive successful project outcomes while ensuring alignment with health sector best practices and provincial priorities.
Qualifications
MUST- HAVES:
- Minimum three (3) year University or College degree in healthcare administration, business management or related field.
- Minimum two to four (2-4) years’ project management experience executing best practices, policies, and processes, specifically within the healthcare industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Ontario’s health system including operations, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to analyze data and make strategic recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with project management software (SharePoint and MS Project) and Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
WE VALUE:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) designation or equivalent an asset
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders to identify project goals, objectives, and requirements
- Conduct thorough assessments of project feasibility, risks, and resource requirements
- Develop, track, and monitor comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, aligned with strategic objectives
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their active involvement and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and to progress the goals of the OHT.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports such as: financial budget/costs, reports, executive summaries, and presentations for stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Day-to-day management of project management applications (SharePoint, Project, etc.)
- Provide administrative support to the team with meeting preparations, meeting minutes, capturing decisions, actions and updating project documentation
- Handles information and data somewhat complex and often confidential. Utilizes data to develop new information for project analysis.
- Responsible for determining the appropriate priorities for administrative supports within the program area and dealing with multiple, often conflicting demands.
- Delegate tasks and duties as required.
- While established procedures are available, solutions may require adaptation to ensure attainment of objectives. Judgement is usually subject to the final approval of others.
- Attends meetings on behalf of the Director, collects and disseminates key takeaways and action items.
- Demonstrate critical thinking to ensure deliverables continue to align with project and program goals and vision; identify impacts of ongoing changes.
