For the women entrepreneurs with kids at home, WEtech has introduced virtual “kidsitting” activities performed by regional female-owned businesses and entrepreneurs. Examples of past activities include: story time, yoga and mindfulness, painting, etc…. The goal is simple. Give moms a moment to step away – even if it’s just of an hour.

As we enter another month of restricted movement and cold weather, we rallied our partners to bring Windsor-Essex (and beyond) a month filled of weekly kidsitting activities. By working with partners like the Mama & Family Expo, we curated a lineup that will surely put a smile on your kids face – and parents too.

February and March’s Virtual Kidsitting programming is presented by WEtech Alliance, RISE Windsor-Essex, WindsorEssex Small Business Centre, and The Mama & Family Expo and is made possible with support from the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario as part of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Strategy.
