STEM Speaker Series: Donna Wellington, COO, Henry Ford Hospital

Donna Wellington COO- Behavioural Health Service- Henry Ford Health System | Board Member, University of Windsor-Odette School of Business, Board Director-Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, Advisory Board member- World Health Innovation Network, Carol Emmott Fellow, 2020 Honouree Top 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Woman.

As COO, Donna leads the transformation of Behavioural Health Services into a comprehensive, integrated, high-reliability, high quality provider of behavioural health services for the system.

She is responsible for Inpatient psych services including Kingswood which is a freestanding facility, Ambulatory BHS services and Addiction Medicine.

Donna has extensive experience in both the inpatient & outpatient settings at Henry Ford Health System, having served as VP of Operations at Henry Ford Hospital, Senior Site Administrator for New Center One, freestanding Medical Multi-specialty Center, Service line administrator for Women’s Health, Dermatology, & Genetics for HFMG, Urology, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She has also served as Nurse Administrator for Neurosciences, Maternal Child, NICU & Minimally Invasive Surgery at HFH and lead Nurse HFMG.

Related to leadership acknowledgments in 2019 Donna was the keynote speaker for Georgie Odette Leadership Symposium and was the keynote speaker for the Womens International day sponsored by Women’s Enterprise Skills Training of Windsor( WEST) in 2018. Recently she was recognized by the University as a 2019 Community.
