ScaleUP Accelerator Cohort 9
Cohort nine, powered by Libro Credit Union in partnership with Communitech, the Government of Ontario, and FedDev Ontario, is designed for companies ready to grow, build momentum, and explore new opportunities while making a regional economic impact to Windsor-Essex and/or Chatham-Kent (see Program Guide for full details).
Tailored to meet their specific needs by working with a team of dedicated expert mentors, participants will delve deep into optimizing operations, expanding market reach, and enhancing product/service offerings. The program also offers participants an opportunity to increase their exposure to various media outlets, increasing their visibility and making it easier to attract investment, customers and strategic partnerships.
Watch nine high-growth companies from diverse regional sectors take the stage to pitch their businesses to a panel of seasoned investors, entrepreneurs, and industry experts, competing for a grand prize of $20,000 at the ScaleUP Cohort 9 Showcase & Pitch Competition on March 19, 2026.
The event was the largest celebration of the program to date, with the ScaleUP teams pitching in front of 200 guests in the stunning Augustus Ballroom at Caesars Windsor in Downtown Windsor.
Attendees also had the opportunity to have their say with the addition of a $2,500 People’s Choice Award, powered by Baker Tilly.
