Lee McGrath is the Director of Business Retention and Expansion for the Windsor-Essex Economic Development Corporation (WE EDC); a not-for-profit organization supported by the Town of Amherstburg, Town of Essex, Town of Kingsville, Town of Lakeshore, Town of LaSalle, Municipality of Leamington, Pelee Island, Town of Tecumseh, and the City of Windsor. WE EDC is responsible for advancing economic development to grow and sustain prosperity in the region. Ms. McGrath develops and maintains relationships and strategies to strengthen businesses and cultivate a collaborative regional economic ecosystem. Ms. McGrath is a principal organizer and founder of the “Emerging Technologies in Automation Conference and Trade Show”. This annual event hosted by WE EDC showcases new technologies and provides an opportunity to gain a shared understanding of the region’s automation industry and capabilities. Prior to this role, Ms. McGrath was responsible for Business Development for a leading global pharmaceutical company working with top leaders in the pharmaceutical industry. Ms. McGrath holds an Honours BA in Political Science from the University of Windsor.
