2018 FIRST Worlds Championships in Detroit

High school students from over 400 teams compete on special playing fields with robots they have designed, programmed, and built themselves. FIRST Robotics Competition Fields and Pits (safety glasses provided and required) will be on Level 2 Halls B-D. Watch teams compete in this year’s robotics challenge on SIX (6!!) playing fields.
FIRST Championship Detroit is a thrilling four-day competition and expo where more than 30,000 attendees will cheer on students ages 6-18 as they participate in game-format challenges with their custom-built robots.
FIRST Events are FREE and OPEN to the public!
Cobo Center has 2,000 parking spaces available on a first come first serve basis at the Cobo Roof Deck, Washington Blvd., and in the Cobo Center Congress Street Garage.
