2012 Federal Budget Changes – SR&ED and More
In this presentation you will hear an update on the recently tabled 2012 Federal Budget and the affect it will have on businesses, both large and small, including the proposed changes to the SR&ED program, the main source of innovation funding from the Canadian government. Implications of the changes to the SR&ED program will be detailed and some strategies around these changes will be noted. This session is targeted towards any company making SR&ED claims, or planning on making claims in the future.

Scott Dupuis is a Tax Partner in the Southwestern Ontario regional practice and is the leader of the Windsor Technology Practice. Scott has been providing tax compliance and advisory services to a variety of clients for over 15 years. Scott has provided services to companies ranging from small start-ups to large public companies. Scott is a Chartered Accountant and has a degree in Business Commerce from the University of Windsor.
Ryan Renaud is a Manager in the Government Incentives practice. Ryan has been providing SR&ED services to clients for 5 years. Ryan is a Certified Management Accountant.
