  • Recent changes in Federal and State tax laws,
  • Sales tax considerations and the impact on Canadian businesses distributing products in the U.S. (including State and sales tax  considerations),
  • Grants/ incentives available to businesses considering relocating to the U.S.
  • Canadian tax considerations/ implications of companies  doing business in the U.S.

Session 2 – Financial  Protection for Windsor/Essex  County Agriculture Industry @ 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
Ron Lemaire(President, Canadian Produce Marketing Association) and Fred Webber (President, CEO Dispute Resolution Corp.) will discuss urgently needed government changes to protect Canadian fruit and vegetable growers from payment disruption by doing business in the U.S.
