Cyber Integration Program for Businesses Operating in the Automotive Sector (Webinar)

Ontario is poised to be at the forefront of innovation and production of the next generation of connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs) and electric vehicles (EVs). Developed in collaboration with leading automotive industry experts, this program will ensure that businesses working in the automotive sector have the necessary knowledge and tools to adopt the cybersecurity technologies and best-practices they need to compete globally, and access national and international supply chains.

- Organization must be operating in or adjacent to the automotive sector
For those with responsibility for technology planning, procurement, integration, and operations. Programming will include experiential learning, interactive discussions, and access to insights from cybersecurity experts. Learners
This specialized bootcamp is designed for one or more staff within the participating companies – ideally, those with responsibility for technology planning, procurement, integration, and operations. Programming will include experiential learning, interactive discussions, and access to insights from cybersecurity experts.
Learners will be provided job aids such as checklists and templates for use within their organizations, and participating companies will also gain access to a one-year associate membership within CCTX.
Topics covered will include:
- Foundational cybersecurity risks
- Sector-based standards and compliance
- Cybersecurity technologies and processes
- Cyber risks for new products or services
- Security-by-design principles and their application in product development
- Enterprise and supply chain cybersecurity due diligence requirements
Duration: Six weeks (two hours of virtual programming per week)
