Detroit Urban Health AI Challenge
October 27, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

In Detroit, a diverse cityscape marked by affluence and a profound need exists side by side. The health outcomes of our residents mirror this stark contrast. This complex urban health landscape, defined by intersecting factors such as employment status, environmental exposure, nutrition, and chronic health conditions, calls for a revolutionary solution.
Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) holds the power to transform urban health management. By harnessing this technology, we aim to create a more equitable health landscape in Detroit, empowering all residents to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Organized by the University of Detroit Mercy and MedHealth, the Detroit Urban Health AI Challenge is a two-day hackathon designed to foster AI innovation in addressing Detroit’s urgent urban health challenges. This event offers a dynamic platform for experimentation, learning, and advancing the responsible use of AI in healthcare.
