Empowering Children from Online Threats (webinar)

The Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade in partnership with Global Affairs Canada Trade Commissioner Service, are pleased to co-host a hybrid event to learn more about how to protect children from cyber threats and attacks.

Children from K-12 are online more than any generation before them. From tablets to cell phones to gaming systems to completing their homework, are connected to the internet. Today’s generation of kids have never been more vulnerable to cyber attacks.

Please join us in-person or online to hear from leading public and private sector organizations, including Cyber Legends, xahive, InspireTech Global, Ministry of Public and Business Services Delivery, Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst, and Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC).

The event is also an opportunity to learn more about how the Trade Commissioner Service supports Ontario based cybersecurity firms to export their cybersecurity education products and services in key international markets. Trade Commissioners based in Toronto, London (U.K.) and Munich (Germany) will also give a market overview of ICT and cybersecurity in those markets.
