Speaker: Keri Damen leads the entrepreneurship programs initiatives at MaRS. These include live entrepreneurship series (such as Entrepreneurship 101 and MaRS Best Practices), intensive small group workshops delivered across Ontario (Entrepreneur’s Toolkit Workshops), and online resources in the Entrepreneur’s Toolkit (www.marsdd.com/toolkit). Prior to joining MaRS in 2008, Keri worked in a number of roles dedicated to building educational programs and content, including the Youth Employment Initiative (YEI) at the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, the European Foundation for Entrepreneurship Research (EFER) in the Netherlands, and the Schulich School of Business at York University. She also taught English to grades 1 to 9 in the public school system in Japan for three years. Keri holds an International MBA (IMBA) from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
