Entrepreneurship SpeakHER Series- Find your Beat with Amy Rivard

Join us for the first session in the relaunch of the Entrepreneurship SpeakHER series in partnership with the Embassy and Consulates of the United States! The Entrepreneurship SpeakHER Series aims to empower post-secondary students, especially women, to consider entrepreneurship as a potential career path.

In this session, we are fortunate to be joined by Amy Rivard, a multifaceted talent as a Singer, Songwriter, and Actor. Amy will be taking us through stories, lessons, and wise words taken from her entrepreneurial journey in the world of music.

Amy’s entrepreneurial efforts as an artist have taken her to many corners of the world, including New York, Ireland, Tokyo, London, England, and much more! She is both American and Canadian and a proud graduate of the University of Windsor’s Music Theater program.

Amy Rivard is a proud University of Windsor graduate and recipient of the 2010 Odyssey Award & The Francis J. Leddy Music Scholarship. After receiving her B.F.A Honours Degree in Musical Theatre, she toured the world singing with Riverdance (N.A. Tour & Broadway) and Celtic Woman. Her music career has taken her to over 30 countries, and she’s lived in Japan, London, England, and NYC. As you’ll see on Amy’s social media, she is constantly creating. It could be a new video, a new character, such as her beloved character, Candy Canadiana, and of course, new music.
