The second step in setting a business idea into motion is to figure out if there is anything else like it in the world. We all like to think that our ideas are truly unique, but has someone else come up with something similar? In the second session of this three-part series, we will discuss how to “take apart” your idea into core components and conduct a thorough search for similar ideas. What attributes make your idea important? Can you learn from other businesses? Are there gaps in the market that you can fill? You will learn the tools to search for competitors and allies, identify industries and markets, and ultimately identify the things that will become your core value.
