The third session in our EPIC Law Series will focus on Industrial Designs with special guest Maya Medeiros, Lawyer, Patent Agent & Trademark Agent at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP.
An industrial design protects original visual features of shape, configuration, pattern or ornament applied to a variety of finished articles including shoes, chairs, toys, electronic devices, and digital interfaces. We will discuss ways to strategically layer industrial design protection with other types of intellectual property rights to build IP value for company assets. We will also review freedom to operate principles with respect to third party industrial designs.
