First Robotics | AI & Coding Robotics Workshop

FIRST Robotics Canada, in partnership with Jetson Infinity, is offering an exciting, hands-on STEM workshop focused on artificial intelligence. This “cinematic STEM experience” gives students the chance to learn Python coding, machine learning basics, and how AI is used in the real world.

Students will work with portable robotic arms and use AI algorithms to solve real-world challenges – like designing tools to support people with physical disabilities. The workshop encourages ethical thinking, inclusive design, and creative problem-solving for students in Grades 8–12.

Students will also form teams to create and pitch their own AI robotic solutions in one of four areas: Smart Manufacturing, Transportation, Entertainment, or Medical. This workshop builds coding skills, teamwork, and shows how AI can make a real difference in the world.
