Future Proofing your Wireless Environment with Next Generation Technologies
January 1, 1970 @ 12:00 am
James R. Drozdiak (Country Manager, Canada) and Allan Russell (Director of Training and Technical Marketing) of Xirrus (www.Xirrus.com) will be discussing the growing and rapid pace adoption of mobile technology for the corporate environment and, among other environments, the classroom. We are now highly dependent on digital resources and applications to enable user engagement in new and more effective ways. Next generation technologies expand the options; such as bring your own devices (BYOD) and cloud-based applications. These are placing significant demands on existing Wi-Fi infrastructures, in many cases, by a factor of 10 in the first year alone. Because of the high density and mobile nature of our users, we are at the forefront of the wireless evolution. Thus, a high-performance, reliable wireless solution is imperative. Xirrus delivers wireless that is scalable, simple to deploy and very cost effective.
In this session we will learn how Xirrus’ unique architecture can help :
- Identify and prioritize applications
- Support high density areas (ex: campuses, auditoriums, classroom, …)
- Securely onboard new users BYOD devices
- Future proof a network for 802.11ac without rip and replace
- Simplify IT operations with zero touch provisioning and integrated NAC
The session is open to anyone involved in the deployment and support of Wi-Fi infrastructures, whether within member organisations or other organisations within the community. Although we have a limited number of seats, with some standing room as well, do not hesitate to invite any Community members who may have interest in next generation Wi-Fi technologies.
