Guinness World Record for Largest Science Lesson

October 18, 2013 @ 12:45 pm - 1:30 pm

FREE

Join Science City in setting the Guinness World Record for the Largest Science Lesson!
On Friday, October 18, 2013, join the Science.gc.ca team, its partners, and thousands of Canadians at hundreds of locations across the country in setting a Guinness World Record for the Largest Science Lesson. We’ll be also marking
the beginning of the National Science and Technology Week.
By constructing and flying paper airplanes we’ll be learning about gravity and atmosphere on Earth, Mars and the Moon, our close neighbours in the solar system who are yet so different.
Join in and help us by attending this 30 minute record-breaking lesson at Canada South Science City, 930 Marion Avenue in Windsor. The lesson will take place at exactly the same time across the country, namely 1 to 1:30 PM EDT, and the event will be featured on Science.gc.ca. Admission to Science City is free for the event, and certificates of participation will be available. Please arrive no later than 12:45 PM. For more information, visit www.cssciencecity.com.
