Q: “What do I need to participate?”
If you have a laptop, you’ll want to bring it, but if you don’t we can (probably) pair you with someone who does. Optional external keyboard and mouse can come in handy. Everyone should have some basic JavaScript knowledge.
Q: “Why Javascript?”
Kata nights are intended to develop generic programming and problem solving techniques, so to ensure productive evenings we like to have everyone communicating with the same language. We chose Javascript because it’s everywhere and there’s a really good chance that you already have a javascript environment setup on your computer… your web browser!
