MaRS Entrepreneurship 101 Series- Starting a Business? (FREE Webcast)

November 4, 2015 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Entrepreneurship 101 is Canada’s largest live and online entrepreneurship course. Aimed at technology entrepreneurs and social innovators, the course covers the fundamentals of starting and building a new venture: testing the market, defining a business model, organizing finances, recruiting talent and more.
The course  is divided into 5 Modules which runs from September 2015 to May 4th, 2016.  We hope you can join in!

Module 1: Map your Journey

Value Proposition – November 4, 2015

We explore the process of creating a crisp and concise value proposition for your startup. Learn how to answer the essential question, “What is the value you bring to your customers?” — without getting into the details of your technology. Formulating a good value proposition is essential for any startup. It is also fundamental to other skills an entrepreneur needs to develop, such as conducting a market analysis, creating a business model and delivering a pitch.
