When the COVID-19 crisis hit, the National Angel Capital Association (NACO) launched a series of virtual roundtables, bringing together 50 innovation ecosystem leaders and thousands of participants from across Canada. These discussions provided insights and guidance to policymakers, informing emergency response and relief programs to support entrepreneurs.

Today, the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages, announced that the Government of Canada will provide an additional $600 million to support workers and businesses through the Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF). This additional investment brings the total RRRF support to over $1.5 billion to help businesses and organizations weather the impact of COVID-19
