Proteus Innovation Competition Launch

The Proteus Innovation Competition is a four-month competition that will challenge individuals to create a viable commercialization strategy for 1 of 3 promising technologies, in hopes of winning a cash prize of up to $5,000! Now in its fifth year, the Proteus Innovation Competition has selected three technologies from three universities, partnering with the University of Windsor and McMaster University along with Western University. 

This Launch party for the competition will be hosted in the EPICentre workshop room and also live-streamed at Western University in London, and McMaster University in Hamilton on November 20^th, 3-5 pm. Snacks and light refreshments will be provided

This three part competition allows contestants to hone their business skills, work with a variety of experienced advisors, and accelerate the commercialization process on discoveries coming out of Ontario’s institutions. 
Stage 1: Abstracts due January 9, 2020 
Stage 2: Business plan due February 3 2020
Stage 3: Pitch, March 26 2020. 

There will also be several workshops throughout the competition period.
