When it comes to revolutionary technologies, quantum computing has become one of the latest buzzwords. With great positive potential, there can be equally negative disruption. Quantum computing promises incredible breakthroughs, some we understand and some we can only imagine. It’s also a nightmare for security specialists and a dream come true for government-sponsored hackers and those wishing to attack our most sensitive data and systems. This talk will examine both sides of quantum with a focus on exploring the need to address cyber defenses first in order to make quantum computing a strategic enabler.
