SBC – Basics of Business Law

Businesses are subject to numerous laws and regulations at all levels of government. Consequently, entrepreneurs benefit themselves and their organizations by developing a basic, working knowledge of the law.This free seminar, presented by Ilias Kiritsis, LL.B., J.D. of Mousseau DeLuca McPherson Prince LLP Barristers and Solicitors, will cover the following topics:

  • What is an non-disclosure agreement? How do I know if I need one, and how does it protect me?
  • Intellectual property law – What are trademarks, patents, copyrights. When should I get one?
  • Contracts and legal agreements – Are they necessary to have?
  • Liability in the different business structures
