SBC presents: Cutting Through Food Business Regulations

Are you currently operating, or looking to start a business in the food industry? This seminar is for you!

We are helping new or existing restaurants, cafés, bakery’s and similar businesses navigate the regulatory compliances to start-up and stay operating.

In the seminar you will hear from some of the main regulatory departments overseeing compliance in the food industry, including the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit, Windsor Fire & Rescue Services and The City of Windsor. More specifically, this seminar will cover:

  • enny Tan CPHIC (Public Health Inspector for the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit) will be presenting on food safety requirements and site inspections
  • John Lee (Chief Fire Prevention Officer for Windsor Fire & Rescue Services) will be covering fire code compliance requirements
  • Craig Robertson (Supervisor of Licensing & Deputy Licence Commissioner for the City of Windsor) will be presenting on the City of Windsor licensing and bylaw requirements
  • Brian Nagata, MCIP, RPP, B.A.A., Dipl.URPl (Zoning Co-ordinator for the City of Windsor) will be covering the City of Windsor zoning requirements
