Tech Connect Meetup: Haunted Piston Edition

Are you involved (or looking to get involved) in Windsor-Essex’s tech community?
On October 21st, WEtech Alliance, in partnership with Windsor-based tech company Red Piston and local artist Jeff Denomme of The Haunted Zoo, will host Tech Connect Meetup: Haunted Piston Edition; a special evening celebrating the intersection of technology, creativity, and community.
This unique edition of Tech Connect will mark the unveiling of a bold new Windsor-tech themed mural on the side of Red Piston’s downtown building at Glengarry Avenue and Chatham Street. Red Piston, a proud WEtech Alliance ScaleUP Accelerator alumni, has been a regional leader in web development, social media, app design, and software programming for more than 14 years.
The event will celebrate Windsor’s growing tech community by bringing together industry leaders, community partners, post-secondary students, artists, and the general public.
Beyond the mural reveal, this event is about activating a downtown space and fostering connection, collaboration, and creativity between Windsor-Essex’s tech and arts communities, government leaders, and industry partners. Together, we’re building momentum toward a vibrant downtown tech and innovation hub.
The evening will also be filmed for The Haunted Zoo’s upcoming Bell Fibe TV1 docu-series, The Zookeeper, which follows Jeff and Christie Denomme and showcases their community-driven art projects, taking viewers behind the scenes from concept to installation.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a Tech Connect without food, drinks, and networking:
