The Bridge Youth | Take Your Shot Entrepreneurship Application

What if you had a professional coach to support your educational or business endeavors? Would you take the shot?

If you are between the ages of 17-24 in Windsor‑Essex County / Chatham-Kent area and have an idea for a business you’d like to open or already have a business operation, the ball is in your court!

As part of this program, we want to ensure that our participants receive the maximum benefit from the resources and guidance offered. One important aspect of the program is the final pitch date, which will take place on July 27th, 2023. It’s mandatory for all program participants to be present on this day to showcase their business ideas to a panel of judges.

We understand that participants may have other commitments or obligations, but attending the final pitch day is crucial to the success of their business. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your ideas, gain valuable feedback from industry experts, and potentially secure funding for your business.

In addition to the final pitch day, business finalists will also be required to participate in mandatory workshops. These workshops cover a range of topics from marketing and branding to financial planning and strategy. They are designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to build a successful business.

Moreover, we expect finalists to connect with their coach regularly as determined by their coach contract. The coach will provide guidance and support throughout the program, and it’s important for participants to stay connected and actively seek feedback to refine their business ideas.
