Thriving in a Multi-generational Workforce

March 24, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Join us for a discussion on how to improve communications within your organization and thrive in a multi-generational workplace

About this Event

The workforce today is at times complicated. In many businesses, there can be upwards of five generations working together, each bringing their own experiences, perspectives, and goals to the table. For each organization, this bring both opportunities and challenges. Each generation has its own nuances and different ways to communicate and connect. These communication hurdles create barriers and frustrations. Adding in a global pandemic, new health and safety protocols, working remotely, and a mix of other changes has amplified the need for clear communications.

Join us, along with special guest Gary McDonald of Clearview Training, for a discussion on how to break down communication barriers and discover how to thrive in a multi-generational workplace. This event is appropriate for anyone, at any level, in the workforce.

We will first unpack the distinguishing factors of Leading vs Managing and how it impacts engagement. Then we will explore the characteristics of the five distinct groups: the Silent Generation, Baby Boomers, Generation X, Y, and the emerging Generation Z.

You will walk away with tools and resources in this fun interactive workshop that can have an immediate impact. Leading effectively reduces stress and increases employee engagement.
