Cybersecurity is a buzz word these days. With the advent of pandemic, the cyber attacks have also risen drastically. Many different aspirants are keen to break into the industry, however they’re often faced with quite a few challenges ranging from Gatekeeper’s, Lack of Experience, Imposter Syndrome and confusion to follow through on a specific pathway into cyber. Having gone through most of these roadblocks and passionate about helping others facing similar challenges, this workshop will be introducing the participants to a leading platform in cybersecurity i.e., TryHackMe. A Q/A session will also be held after the workshop so participants are free to engage with speaker, also reach out to him via DM on LinkedIn.
Taj Hussain is an international student graduate in Information Technology, specialising in Network Security. He also served as President of the Student Committee of the university and led many initiatives for active engagement and development of student skills in cybersecurity and was part of awareness on Mental Health through ’R U Okay’. Additionally, Taj has been quite the traveler having started his career in Middle East, Dubai & Doha. Being grown up in residential schools far away from home his background and quick rapport building has been handy in quite a few different situations. Taj is dedicated to social causes and issues. Being a Disability support worker, he tends to clients from leading not for profits in various day-day activities as part of community engagement. Although a foodie, Taj is a practitioner of Mixed Martial Arts, Muay Thai & Krav Maga and an RTS fanboy, particularly Age of Empires.
