DAY ONE – Monday, March 22, 2021

Emerging Technologies in Automation Virtual Conference will feature renowned speakers and women entrepreneurs who will share their journeys to success and showcase the technologies, skills and solutions they have developed and implemented. Joining the event will be lifelong entrepreneur and former CBC “Dragon” Bruce Croxon and VP of IBM Technology Group Skills Vitality & Enablement, professional speaker and author Paul Zikopoulos who will share their wisdom, advice and experience. Five inspiring women pioneers from across Canada will share their journeys to success including all the ups and downs along the way.

Emerging Technologies Speaker Series: Community Cybersecurity | This community focused webinar on cybersecurity has been designed to provide a local, regional, and global review of how the problems solved by new technologies and the internet of things can create new security risks and complexity for businesses and the community.

TECH MOBILITY powered by WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation

The Auto Cybersecurity event will include an automotive cybersecurity overview, presented by A.J. Khan, CEO of Vehiqilla. Following A.J will moderate a panel discussion on cybersecurity, the three domains of automotive cybersecurity, the world-class research conducted in Windsor, and how Windsor has the framework to be the Automotive cybersecurity Hub of Canada.

Tech Homecoming Day powered by WEtech Alliance – will bring together Windsor-area expats, alumni, newcomers and regional leaders to reconnect and reinvest with the place they once called (or will soon call) home for discussions centered around turning Windsor-Essex into a Hub of Innovation.

WinHacks 2021 will explore the world of mobility and feature industry experts and companies who are transforming the way we move people and goods. This years’ WinHacks event will feature similar themes, challenges, and goals, while once again breaking new ground for digital events. This three-day event will be held virtually on Friday, March 26th and 28th.

The Tech Awards are a fun, informal way of recognizing technology innovators of all stages for their achievement and success in our community. We’ll be honouring all of our Tech Award winners with a unique, locally-made Tech Award created with the help of our Todd Lindsay and a winner video produced my Media Street Productions. The YQG Tech Awards provide a fantastic opportunity to showcase the impactful leaders in the local tech sector and to strengthen networks within the tech community.

This event will be held throughout the week with 2 winner videos – produced by Media Street Productions – announced each day starting Monday, March 22nd.
