Windsor, Ontario, April 25, 2012 – SunSource Grids Inc., an innovative solar start-up in southwestern Ontario, is working on a solution that is expected to change the way energy (hydro) is delivered to homes, corporations and institutions. While target markets will be a global, SunSource Grids also knows that this technology is sorely needed in the region, Ontario and Canada. Through a collaborative R&D project between the University of Windsor and Marlon Hurst, CEO & President of Marcom System and SunSource Grids, faculty and graduate students at the university’s Centre for Hybrid Automotive Research and Green Energy (CHARGE) have helped to take Hurst’s idea from concept to design. This work underscores the results that public-private partnerships can deliver.
