WE Students United is a new initiative of United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County, and has been established as a means to connect students in Windsor Essex to their community through volunteering, giving and action. United Way recognizes the importance of young people in the community, and wants to provide our future leaders with an opportunity to learn more about the issues facing those in Windsor-Essex, and all that United Way is doing to make a positive impact in our community.
We know that students want to get involved in their community, and we want to provide them with opportunities to make a difference in Windsor Essex! We are recruiting a team of students ages 17-24 to become involved in WE Students United. This is a brand new initiative that needs a fun, fresh logo that represents young people who want to give back to their community!
Please note that in order to be considered, the following rules must be adhered to;
- Submissions must incorporate the current United Way/Centraide logo using either red, black, grey, or white (emailed following registration)
- Submissions must incorporate official United Way National Branding Colours (emailed following registration)
- Candidates providing submissions must be 24 years of age or younger
- Candidates providing submissions must live, work, or attend school in Windsor Essex
Final Logo design submissions must be sent in JPEG, PNG, or GIF format.
All logo submissions must be sent to logocontest@weareunited.com by no later than 11:59pm on October 31st, 2012
