Windsor-Essex County, Ontario, Wednesday, December 12, 2012 – At a media conference today, NutraNorth was officially welcomed by the WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation board and stakeholders, as well as, elected officials from the City of Windsor and County of Essex.NutraNorth was founded by Sunitha Dida a Registered Pharmacist and Srihari Sudi an Industrial Pharmacist with more than two decades of experience in the industry of pharmaceuticals and natural health products. With expertise in areas of product development, manufacturing, quality assurance, sales and distribution the NutraNorth facility is fully equipped to run small (R&D and pilot production) to large scale productions to satisfy customer needs.
Sunita Dida, Vice President, NutraNorth said, “It’s a pleasure to be here today to officially launch NutraNorth among Windsor-Essex partners, stakeholders and customers. Although our initial intention was to locate our new business in Michigan, we were convinced to open our facility in Windsor, and 3 months later we know we made the right decision. NutraNorth’s facility on Argyle Road is strategically located in Windsor-Essex to serve all of our customers in Canada and the United States. Srihari Sudi, President and CEO and I feel strongly that our company differs significantly from others in this sector because our team is made up of pharmacists and scientists with extensive knowledge of natural health products, plus great expertise and real world experience in producing new, unique, innovative and cost effective nutritional supplements. We have an unwavering commitment to produce competitively priced and top quality products that makes us the right choice for our many clients. We have been working with the New Canadian Centre, Ontario Works and the Unemployed Help Centre to help us build our workforce. We currently have 10 employees and as the company grows the employee base will certainly follow.
