ECOSHAH: Self Powered Solar Furnace & Air Conditioner on Kickstarter

December 9, 2013in Opportunity Alerts 0 Comments

Ecoshah dome 018The ECOSHAH  uses the sun to heat and air condition your home. The design could also eventually be used to heat and cool water.
ECOSHAH  is an acronym for

Enviromental Cooler Optional Solar Hot Air Heater
The ECOSHAH ‘s solar furnace and air conditioner technology, was invented to impact the two largest energy consumers of any home/resident, office, business, industry and community. By concentrating on perfecting these two items; we were able to create applications that are low cost yet high impact enough for consumers to have successful ROI (Return On Investment) that is measured in years rather than decades.

Energy Consuption by Appliance
Energy Consuption by Appliance

Why solar collector verses solar PV (Photo Voltaic) panel.
The sun produces 1 kilo watt of energy per square meter of the earth it touches
Existing solar collectors are 40% efficient and therefore produce 400 Watt per square meter
Existing solar PV panels are 20% efficient and therefore produce 200 watts per square meter.
Add to this the higher cost of PV panels and the extra equipment needed and this results in the solar collector being 75% cheaper.
Before the ECOSHAH invention, solar collectors were and are still limited to seasonal winter heat. Year round use was the domain of the PV panels and this gave the PV panels the advantage.
Our solution: is the ECOSHAH
