1. What is FanTravel (and what services do you provide)?
FanTravel is an online platform to make traveling to events simple. We make it easy on both ends: trip organizers don’t have to manage travel themselves and travelers get an amazing online and offline experience. For more information, visit www.fantravel.com.

2. Where did the name FanTravel come from?
A little bit of a no-brainer there. We definitely lucked out on the URL.

3. Anything new and exciting happening with your company?
We are travelling hundreds of people at the turn of the New Year. Our big event is the Rose Bowl down in Pasadena (more info can be found here – http://www.fantravel.com/stanford). It’s weeks of work leading to a few days where thousands of fans from both Stanford and MSU will be sprawling across LA.

4. What’s your favorite technology gadget?
GoPro! I love the kinds of creative videos you can do with them. I also love how they help tell a story/experience. I plan to play around with them down in Pasadena.

5. Why did you join WEtech Alliance?
I’ve been in California for a few years and have only recently moved back to Canada. After meeting Karen and Rob, I knew that they were the best way of connecting into a brilliant network of smart and motivated individuals across southern Ontario.
