What is Ellis Digital Solutions? What products/services do you provide?
Ellis Digital Solutions Inc. is a multi-discipline firm that in its simplest form provides computer generated imagery (C.G.I.). Our services fall into two different categories: Augmented Reality (AR) and 3d visualization.
Our Augmented Reality (AR) service can allow businesses the ability to interact with their audiences in a completely new way. AR, not only extends but enhances how you experience the real world. Images, videos, sounds and 3d models can become a digital overlay by using the camera and sensors in your smart phone/tablet to bring print ads…and many other objects, to life.
We also provide 3d visualization in the areas of architecture, product, forensic and visual effects. 3D rendering and animation allows you to create a digital mockup of a real world object or event but can also enhance real world objects as well. This can include a rendering of a house/building design (pre-construction), a digital mockup of a product package, a 3d reconstruction of a complex motor vehicle accident or a tornado simulation for a feature film…and anything in between!
Our products fall into two categories: Software tools and digital content.
Our software tools are the solutions that we have written in-house to deal with techniques in the 3d production pipeline. The tools range from maximizing efficiency of a technique to specific tool creation when one is not commercially available.
The digital content that we provide is in the form of 3d vehicle and site models for vehicle simulation software for accident reconstruction.

The perfect client for us would be a person or company that is excited about leveraging high end, cutting edge technology to engage their customer base or audience.
Anything new and exciting happening within your company?
We have recently entered into a contract to work with The Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW) which is an international architectural practice with offices in Paris, Genoa and New York City. Our company will be setting up a rendering pipeline for their L’Ecole normale supérieure de Cachan project in Paris, France. The solution is to provide a real time link between the 3d BIM (building information model) data and the rendering software so that design changes will be updated automatically while maintaining the preset rendering style.
What’s your favorite technology gadget? And why?
Our favourite technology is stereo photogrammetry. This technology allows for extremely high resolution 3D models and point clouds to be generated from digital images.
Why did you join WEtech Alliance?
We joined WEtech to take part in an association with highly motivated people, and companies, that are like minded in our interests and endeavors. WEtech was a natural fit, as it provides many support avenues for new venture technology companies.
