National Science and Technology Week is October 17 – 26, 2014
During National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) we are asking YOU to host an event featuring science and technology. Help us host events around Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent and show Canada that we love all things Science and Technology!
What is National Science and Technology Week (NSTW)?
NSTW is a cross Canada celebration of the significance of our country’s science and technology history, the important of science and technology in today’s world, and Canada’s ongoing role as a world leader in innovation.
NSTW is made up of activities organized by a variety of groups across Canada – from national institutions, to community based organizations, to schools and libraries. Any event with a focus on science or technology that educates and interests Canadians is a valuable part of NSTW.
What kind of event should I host?
Science.gc.ca suggests various events that can be run during NSTW including an Open House, Tours, Lecture Series, School Tours, Celebrating Milestones and Conferences.
More information on how to plan an event can be found at the official NSTW webpage: http://tinyurl.com/NSTWEvent
What can WEtech Alliance do to help me out?

We will also assist in submitting your event details to the official NSTW event calendar. To be included in our NSTW marketing, please submit your event by September 12th, 2014.
