Global Entrepreneurship Week

During Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) we are asking our Community Partners to host an event featuring entrepreneurship. Help us host events around Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent and show the World that we love all things Entrepreneurial!
What is Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW)?
Global Entrepreneurship Week is the world’s largest celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare.
During one week each November, GEW inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators. These activities, from large-scale competitions and events to intimate networking gatherings, connect participants to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors-introducing them to new possibilities and exciting opportunities. What kind of event should I host?
GEW is more than just an awareness campaign. It is a platform for connection and collaboration, which engages all players along the entrepreneurship spectrum in strengthening ecosystems around the world. Various events can be held from workshops, entrepreneurship competitions, expos and conferences, as well as networking events.
What can WEtech Alliance do to help me out?
Locally, we plan to create a marketing piece to inform the public and visitors of all the different GEW events happening in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent. We will also assist in submitting your event details to the official GEW event calendar. To be included in our GEW marketing, please submit your event by October 17th, 2014.
