Social Media Lovers and Active Users Wanted for Social Media Superheroes P2P

February 19, 2015in Opportunity Alerts 0 Comments

supersocialDear Social Media Friends!

As a key player in the Social Media Community, WEtech Alliance would like to invite you to participate in our upcoming Social Media Superheroes Peer-to-Peer (P2P) group. Your expertise, klout and appreciation of all things Social Media are ideal criterions for the group.

We would be delighted if you would join us for our inaugural meeting on March 25, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. at the Downtown Windsor Business Accelerator located at 720 Ouellette Avenue. The Social Media Crusaders P2P Facilitator is Matt Senechal of Motor City Community Credit Union. For more information on the P2P, please see below.

What is a P2P: Designed for entrepreneurs and professionals who want to gain direct access to practical, technical and business-related information. Through regular meetings, participants can share ideas/best practices and work on projects to help support growing a new or emerging company as well as the community as a whole.

Social Media Crusaders Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Description: Group members meet quarterly to talk about the opportunities and challenges in the area of social media as it pertains to their company/organization. The group will target the following three areas:

  • Best Practice Sharing – Through discussions and presentations;
  • Community Advisory Services – Working with local non-profits organizations to assist them with their social efforts; and
  • Community Education and Promotion – Working on projects as determined by the group. Potential projects could include: establishment of a regional hashtag (we love #YQG), establishing a community database for social media users, planning activities for Social Media Day and Week, etc….

Who Should Attend: Social Media Lovers and Active Users

If you are interested in participating, please RSVP to Michelle Teno-Wachter, atmteno-wachter@wetech-alliance.com or 519-997-2863.

Your participation is appreciated!
