Canada’s Worst Charity Website offers registered charities an opportunity to win a digital facelift. Make sure your favourite charity’s website stands out from the crowd.
MARCH 2, 2015 LONDON, ON: Do you love a particular charity but hate dealing with their website? Now is the time to nominate your beloved charity for Canada’s Worst Charity Website (CWCW).
The CWCW campaign is returning for the third time to help one registered Canadian charity with $25,000 worth of web design and development by rtraction, an award-winning digital agency in London, Ontario. rtraction knows first-hand that a good website can make a huge difference in a charity’s ability to connect with the people it serves, and attract volunteers and donors.
According to Statistics Canada, charitable donations dropped by 19% in 2012, resulting in a loss of $2.3 billion dollars for Canadian charities. Donations are needed by these charities to help their cause and their cause helps Canadians in return.
Many charities survive on the passion and volunteerism of their supporters, but do not have the resources to develop a user-friendly website that can attract this public support. By nominating your favourite charity for CWCW, you are giving them a great opportunity to improve their interaction and engagement with supporters.
To nominate your charity, visit http://worstcharitywebsite.ca and submit their name.
Nominations are open from March 2nd to March 30th, and you can follow the whole campaign
on Twitter @HelpCWCW.
