Windsor Soup Partners with Libro Credit Union to Give Back to Windsor-Essex Communities

Windsor, ON – March 23, 2015 – Enactus Windsor and Pathway to Potential are thrilled to announce a new and exciting partnership with Libro Credit Union (www.libro.ca), which will contribute a total of $13,000 toward Windsor SOUP programs in 2015. Funding supports more than 10 Windsor SOUP events throughout the year, with $500 going to the winner of each event and $500 to cover the cost of the events. “Libro Credit Union is passionate about supporting our local communities in southwestern Ontario,” said Liz Arkinstall, Libro Credit Union Community Engagement Manager. “One of the key areas to building prosperity is youth leadership, and Windsor SOUP is a shining example of a student micro funding initiative focused on bringing social change to the Windsor-Essex community.” The Windsor SOUP events will continue to be hosted across Windsor-Essex, in locations such as the Walkerville Brewery (525 Argyle Road), led by Enactus Windsor Essex and partnered on by Libro, Pathway to Potential, the P & L Odette Charitable Foundation, EPICentre and WeTech Alliance.
