WEtech client RMRD Tech finished Top of Class at the Stu Clark Investment Competition held at the University of Manitoba March 11-12th where teams from across North America competed for a prize purse worth over $50,000.

RMRD Tech was awarded Top Canadian University and finished in second place overall in the annual competition.

“We faced some very serious international competition from MIT, John Hopkins, Western, Waterloo etc.” said RMRD Tech founder Kyle Bassett.

“I feel this is very significant as this was a business competition and not engineering or energy related. The majority of our competitors had many people on their teams and some significant previous investment capital. Through the competition we were able to secure some additional funding to help move forward as well some valuable feedback from some very established professionals.”
