EatDrinX is a mobile and web platform engineered in Windsor, Ontario that provides all that real-time information at your fingertips and it goes live March 23rd, 2016.
EatDrinX co-founders Mathew Guignard and Pramod Mendonca met at a startup mixer at the University of Windsor’s EPICentre and went on to develop their innovative tech venture at the Downtown Windsor Business Accelerator.
“EatDrinX is simple and yet so much more than a food app,” says Guignard. “Think of it as a food and beverage social network that empowers customers with information and will change the way restaurants showcase their establishment and daily offerings.”
Over 75 establishments across Windsor-Essex are already integrated into EatDrinX.

“This area is strategically located, allowing us to understand the needs and tastes of the Canadian and US markets. There is a rich diversity of restaurants on both side of the boarder and we are looking forward to activating new markets within Canada and the US,” says Mendonca.
Guignard credits the support EatDrinX received from the local entrepreneurial ecosystem for getting their idea to market.
“The Downtown Windsor Business Accelerator and WEtech Alliance have really been there for us,” says Guignard. “We are a two man operation, and they provided the resources to get us where we are today.”
EatDrinX integrates:
– “EDX Places” An App for restaurants to showcase their menus, specials, features and events in real-time with high resolution images.
– “EatDrinX” A geo-location based app, that allows individuals to view food and drink specials & features, nearby events, find a “Patio/Live Music/2for1 Apps, as well as view full restaurant menus.
Consumers can download EatDrinX on both Apple and Android Stores.
